Introduction:

Follow us on our 2011 Summer Adventure. We will journey across the country to the Old West and the First National Park in this country. We're home basing from Sundance, Wyoming, then traveling out to Yellowstone. This blog will include the trip there, but (as previous years have shown) I may be having too much fun, or not enough wi-fi to complete the blog all the way through. (don't worry I'll catch it up when I get home)

Please Enjoy Reading, as I enjoy sharing this with you.

The Blog is Ready to Go

Hi all,
I may not be packed, well not even close to packed with only three days left until we leave for the "Old West'.  Our little catch phrase for this trip is "I90W" the road that takes us to our destination, the place we would much rather be.

I guess this is the introductory post, to let you know what our plans are, and to tell you to get everyone you think that would be interested in following along to follow this blog.

Most of you who read this know me personally, so I guess I really don't have to explain much. You know I love to travel... you know I love to write and share my adventures with you... and you know I'm a procrastinator, and usually bit behind schedule. Can't wait for the next post?  Please let me know.  I know the last trip I had limited cellular signal, and wi-fi was scarce.  Our last trip to Sturgis in 2009 had me huddling by the laundry building of our campground to catch a bit of signal. The campground we are staying at this time says there's wi-fi, we'll see when we get there.  I will try my hardest to type up the day's events that night before passing out, but it may be posted the next day.

Not only do I share our adventure with you on this blog, but it helps me when I'm wondering what day we did what. Who actually remembers to write in that nice journal with the crisp white pages? ;-)
Well, there's much to do tomorrow in preparation, so I should probably let you go now.

Blog-atcha soon!
